“Of course I’m biased, and I should be. I’m very lucky to have this woman in the center of my life. Jeanne-Marie is amazing, and I’ve seen it since we first met. She goes out of her way to get to know so many people and actually cares about them, remembers their names, their birthdays, their stories. Facts and data matter, but for her people matter more.
She has volunteered in our local schools as long as our children have attended, because she wants to help the community. But by her nature wherever she went she built relationships with the faculty, and staff, and students, and administrators, and other parents. And in working with all these people, she has years of understanding how the school system works. Jeanne-Marie is one of those very special people who is a connector. She ties different social circles together.
I believe that this new school district needs to make crucial decisions to get started in the right direction. Jeanne-Marie is exceptionally talented at including and listening to people, and our community will need to be heard and to collaborate in order to define the values that will shape these early decisions. This new district has two years to get up and running, and Jeanne-Marie can make sure it represents our community’s values.”

“You will not find a more selfless, serving person for this position! Jeanne-Marie Burrows is the epitome of caring for others and their needs, specifically teachers and students needs, as I’ve watched her give countless hours to all the schools her children attend. She has seen what is happening and I know will always have teachers and students best interest in every decision made by the board! I can’t say enough about how amazing and dedicated she is to the community!!”
- Kayli Johnson, Kindergarten teacher
"I wholeheartedly support Jeanne-Marie for Aspen Peaks school board member! I have known Jeanne-Marie for over ten years now through our school, Dry Creek Elementary. While her sons were in my classes years ago, she was a very supportive and involved parent by being my room mom and weekly parent helper. She was also my teacher’s aide for my class just last year! Jeanne-Marie has become a great and trusted friend throughout the years.
One thing I know about Jeanne-Marie is that she is always willing to step up and fill in any gaps needed anywhere without complaint…substitute a class with a sick teacher? Done! Secretary for the day? Sign her up! Pick up and take care of a sick child in her home? Already did it with my own kid! Surprised a teacher with a half-birthday cake and class party? Check!
Jeanne-Marie is kind, fair, honest, understanding, patient, and calm. She has so many attributes that make her an amazing leader and I am proud and lucky to be her friend.
I think that Jeanne-Marie would be a great member of the school board because she is very passionate and interested in what is happening in our local schools and on the state level. She supports teachers 100% and is an advocate for all students! She listens to teacher and staff concerns and tries to find viable and realistic solutions, no matter how small the concerns may seem.
I have come to her many times asking her opinion about specific state legislative education policies or district policy questions and concerns and she educates me or tells me that she will research the answers and will get back to me…and she does!
Voters in the area will be hard-pressed to find another candidate who educators, school staff, and students actually know, like, and interact with! She is active in several PTA communities and school community councils in the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. She has led many school assemblies from promoting school fundraisers to spreading friendship and kindness in our schools. I love how she is always involved in activities in our local schools! Band concert, Football games, choir concert, school plays - she’s there!
I wish I lived in her area because I know that Aspen Peaks and its communities would be very well-represented and supported with Jeanne-Marie on the board!"

“I have worked with Jeanne-Marie in various capacities over the last few years, including local and Council PTA leadership and School Community Councils at multiple schools. Through the years I have known her, I have been in awe of her concern for students and teachers, her support for administration, and her ability to balance life and keep calm in stressful situations. She skillfully manages time, and fully engages in whatever she does. She is a highly qualified individual, who has a masters degree in special education, and has leadership qualities of being fair-minded, principled, and fun! Jeanne-Marie also has a gift for connecting with others and bringing people together. She is a deliberate and thoughtful person, and would be an amazing school board member.”

“I have seen firsthand over the past 11 years why I recommend Jeanne-Marie Burrows for Aspen Peaks School Board.
Jeanne-Marie Burrows and I have served on PTA boards for 11 years. It started back when Dry Creek Elementary was created. We had a unique experience helping create a brand-new PTA from the beginning as well as helping the admins, staff and teachers prepare to open a brand-new school. It was important for Jeannie Marie to have unity in our community for students, parents, teachers, staff and admins since we were split from Meadow and Snow Springs Elementary. We became our very own Dry Creek Elementary.
I have also served with Jeanne-Marie on PTSA at Willowcreek Middle School and Lehi High School. She has focused on more teacher appreciation, student involvement and a sense of community at the secondary school level.
For the past 2 years, we have been on the Lehi PTA Council which serves Dry Creek, Lehi Elementary, Lehi Jr., Lehi HS, Meadow, North Point, River Rock, Snow Springs and Willowcreek. At our council meetings we get to meet with District and School Board Reps as well as focus on all the schools in our council. Keeping schools informed and united has been one of Jeanne-Marie’s focuses especially doing a District Split.
Thru serving on PTA/PTSA and Council leadership positions, Jeanne-Marie understands the parent, teacher, student, admin and District perspectives. She tries to help balance all sides. Jeanne-Marie has always advocated for all. She attends trainings each year not only for PTA but also attends the Utah State Legislate and Advocacy conferences as well as Alpine School District meetings to be educated on what is going on.
As our Alpine School District is splitting and a new school district is being created, the importance of unity, experience and leadership is needed more than ever. Jeanne-Marie Burrows has already done this and will continue to as your next Aspen Peaks School Board Member.”

"I am honored to know and work with Jeanne-Marie. Currently, I serve under her as the President-elect of the Lehi Council PTA. This takes in the nine feeder schools of Lehi High School and we meet monthly with the principals and PTA presidents of these schools. She actively serves each of these schools in some capacity. She truly is a dedicated public servant, honorable in every way. I feel she will represent our community with integrity, honesty and an unparalleled work ethic that will benefit all."
- Candace Jones
"Jeanne-Marie Burrows has spent many years in service to our students and teachers in the PTA and will be an excellent School Board member for the new Aspen Peaks District.
She has spent 12 years in our schools working with administrators to support teachers and students. She has not only served in her childrens’ schools but through her service in the Lehi Council has worked with multiple schools at all levels elementary-high school and has experience with the different needs schools at these various levels face.
This past school year I was the PTA President at Meadow Elementary and she was always ready to help with any questions I had and when she found out we were short on volunteers to run our school carnival she signed up to run a game. She truly cares about all our children and helping them reach their potential.
She has experience working with the current Alpine School District Board which means her learning curve won’t be as steep as many of the other candidates and gives her a solid foundation to hit the ground running. Jeanne-Marie is the best candidate for Aspen Peaks School District Seat #6."

“As a fellow parent of students at Dry Creek Elementary, I am proud to endorse Jeanne-Marie Burrows for school board. Jeanne-Marie has been a constant source of inspiration and leadership within our school community—she was the person who encouraged me to get involved with the PTA. Her unwavering commitment to advocating for all children, not just a select few, has consistently guided her work and earned her the deep respect of parents, teachers, and students alike.
Jeanne-Marie is the kind of person who shows up, steps up, and sees every task through to the end. Whether it’s organizing a major event or handling the quiet behind-the-scenes work, she approaches each responsibility with determination and care. She doesn’t walk away until the job is done—and done right. Her dedication, follow-through, and strong sense of responsibility make her the ideal candidate to represent our schools and families on the board.”
